Rescue story

Amos had a reputation around here. He was one of the biggest bullies on the farm, and for the longest time we could not work out why a boy like him would act that way. Testing finally gave us the answer. Amos is a cryptorchid, which means that despite everything anyone thought, he was still very much a stallion. That explained the behavior. It also means we may have a few surprise babies running around here in a few months. He had a specialized surgery in Nashville and he is healing up in the barn now, on rest for about a month. Underneath all of it he is a teddy bear. He always was, we just could not see it through the hormones. And we know he cannot wait to get back out there and run.
