Rescue story
Enzo arrived here as part of the Georgia 8. Eight donkeys from one home in Georgia, surrendered by an owner who had fallen on hard times and refused to let them suffer for it. She could have done a lot of other things. She chose the one that cost her the most and served them the best. Because of her, Enzo has never had a reason to be afraid of a person. He came to us already knowing he was worth something. He is one of the reasons we say that surrendering an animal to safety is not failure. Sometimes it is the whole point.
