Rescue story
Goldie came to us from Pam's rescue alongside Lucky. Pam was a friend of ours and she is gone now, and these two are part of how we remember her. Goldie was scared. Not shy, not standoffish. Scared, in a way that told you something had happened to her and she had not put it down yet. She has come so far. That is the whole story with her and it is the part I am proudest of. The distance between the horse who came off that trailer and the one out there now is enormous, and every inch of it was hers to travel. Nobody could do it for her. She and Lucky were our first horses. We did not know then what they were about to teach us.
Virtually adopted
Goldie is looked after with the help of Dianne, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
