Rescue story
JoJo is one of eight donkeys who came to us out of Georgia together. Their owner had reached the end of what she could manage. Life had turned on her and she knew it, and she made the choice to hand them over rather than watch them go without. There is nothing easy about that decision. We think about her often. What she gave us was eight animals who already trusted people. That is a gift you cannot buy and cannot rush. JoJo came off that trailer and settled in like he had always been here.

JoJo is looked after with the help of Susan Mardo, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
