Rescue story
Knight is a cryptorchid, which means that despite appearances he was still very much a stallion. He has since had the surgery to correct it. We have learned to watch for this. It explains behavior that otherwise makes no sense, and it explains foals that arrive when nobody was expecting any. His son Lancelot was born at Pam's rescue before either of them came to us. Pam was our friend and she is gone now, and a good many of the animals here trace back to her one way or another. Knight is settled now, out in the main pasture with his boy. Whatever was driving him before, it is not driving him anymore.
Virtually adopted
Knight is looked after with the help of Tracy, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
