Rescue story
Lizzie came to us alongside Emma. The two of them were our first donkeys, back when we were still living in Florida, and neither of us had any idea what they were about to start. We met her when she was only a few weeks old. She carries the woolly gene, so she is fuzzy all over, and she is exactly as soft as she looks. Sweet and kind, every single day, without fail. All these years and one whole move to Tennessee later, she and Emma are still best friends. They started this together and they are still together.

Lizzie Lou is looked after with the help of Deb, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
