Rescue story
Smeegle is one of the nine. Nine donkeys, one owner, one very hard day. A major change came into her life and she could not care for them any longer, so she surrendered every one of them to us at the same time. Together, which was the whole point. She was not going to let her herd get broken up on the way out. Smeegle is a mini in the main pasture and most of his herd is still right there with him. That is the part we are proudest of. Whatever she lost that day, she got this right.

Smeegle is looked after with the help of Amanda, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
