Rescue story

Houston came out of Texas with her son Tex. The two of them were dumped at auction, the way far too many good animals are, by somebody who decided they were not worth keeping. They were wrong about that. She is such a good mama. Steady, watchful, patient with him in a way that never had to be taught. Whatever she went through before she got here, it never touched the part of her that takes care of her boy. She and Tex both made it out, and they both made it here.
