Rescue story
Trillium came to us young. That is the whole of what our records say about where he started. Young male. No age, no origin, no account of the months before he got here. The good part of arriving young is that there is not much behind you yet. Whatever went wrong for him, it went wrong early enough that most of his life was still ahead of it. He has spent the larger share of his years here now, and that ratio only improves. He is named for a wildflower, along with several others who came in around the same stretch. He is a standard donkey in the main pasture, grown up now, and this is the only home he really remembers.

Trillium is looked after with the help of Vanessa V Mussatto, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
