Rescue story

Willow is a Belgian draft horse, and she is the only draft we have who is not blind. I brought her home on Mother's Day. She was rumored to be pregnant, and once she was here with us we confirmed that she is. She was an Amish throw away, a mare who had never once known what it feels like to be loved on. She learned slowly. Now she gets so excited when it is her turn for attention, and she will stand there all day long to be brushed and groomed. For a horse her size she is unbelievably gentle with the little ones. She has a real soft spot for Levi, and the two of them together are something to see. A big gentle giant is exactly what she is.
